Purchase of Green Power for Electricity Consumed During Construction

Hi there,
For a project I am currently modelling the head contractor has purchased Green Power to cover the electricity consumed during construction. This has been confirmed through the provision of electricity invoices that capture all electricity consumed on-site over the duration of the construction program.
I would like to understand the following:
– Should the electricity consumption captured in the invoices replace the benchmark electricity demands embedded in the construction equipment templates within eTool? If so, how can this be done?
– Can the purchase of Green Power for the electricity consumed during construction be captured as an impact reduction initiative within the LCA? I have read the article posted by eTool in relation to Green Power (https://support.etoollcd.com/index.php/knowledgebase/greenpower-renewable-energy-purchase-agreements-in-lca/) and understand that its inclusion is a deviation from EN15978. However we would still like to demonstrate the benefit associated with its purchase while acknowledge in the deviation from EN15978 and the potential risk for double counting.
Thank you
Martin
