File Design Optimisation Motivation (why we need this feature): Required for compliance with standards., Which regions need the feature?: United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Other, Which projects types does the feature support?: Buildings, Which ratings systems require the feature?: RICS WLC standard Green Star Buildings,

New LCA standards such as the RICS WLC standard will require mixed end of life scenarios, beyond what is currently possible in eTool. Green Star Buildings is another example. Under these standards and schemes materials will need to be modelled with varying proportions of end of life waste allocated to reuse, recycling, disposal in landfill, and incineration for energy recovery.

To enable compliance with these standards and schemes, eTool modellers will need full flexibility to be able to set these parameters manually. The current limited selection, and ability to only adjust recycling rates is no longer sufficient.
