With more and more demand for 3rd party certifications we need the functionality of allocating individuals (potentially from another organisation) as a reviewer or certifier.
ICMS3 Infrastructure Categories
Having different construction scope categories for infrastructure projects makes sense because the current RICS NRM categories do not align to infrastructure projects.
Alternative 2 factor authentication method
For a number of users the verification PIN comes through only after a significant delay. This can be a significant disincentive to using the tool.
Listing Revit import categories
Currently the Revit import categories are listed haphazardly making it quite time consuming to search and allot templates. Suggesting to list the Revit import categories ‘categorically’. For example, list all walls together, floors together, doors together etc.
Possibility to keep certifications when copying scenario tree
When copying a whole scenario tree, it could be interesting to add a checked box asking if we want to keep BAU certified (confirming there will be no changes to the model for example).
Scope 1, 2 and 3 – Sort Analysis
In the Analysis tab for a scenario, it would be extremely helpful to be able to sort by Scope 1, 2 and 3 for the design (similar to how you can select element process names or modules). A one-click tab would eliminate the need for manually grouping all impacts for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 […]
Updating the FW indicator
I noticed that eTool reports FW in terms of kg of water. However, this indicator is widely reported on m3, particularly when it comes to certifications and EPDs.
Project and Structure Level reporting
For large projects involving multiple buildings (such as precinct level projects) it would be very useful to be able to create reports at the structure, or project level. Precinct level projects containing multiple buildings will often only be practical to model using multiple structures or multiple different building models per structure (or a combination of […]
Organisation Benchmarks
Several organisations would like to have the ability to use one or more certified models as a benchmark for other projects. There are a lot of building types that eTool doesn’t have an appropriate benchmark for, e.g. health care buildings, schools, warehouses, banking institutions, railway stations, aged care residences etc.. Organisations that specialise in these […]
Focus Indicator(s)
Add a key indicator focus to the LCA reports
Grid/Network Column Under Operational Energy & Water Categories
As a user & reviewer, it would be convenient if there is an extra column for ‘Grid/Network’ under the Operational Energy & Water categories.
Add South African RAND as currency indicator
On behalf of users in South Africa, they would like the option of reporting with the South African RAND financial indicator.
Reporting Module added to dropdowns
As a user I need to be able to easily attribute components of my LCA to each module. By including the reporting module to the drop downs, like what is available for Water, it will be faster and easier to report.
Add Hydraulic Oil as an LCI Material
The addition of Hydraulic Oil as a material allows the creation of hydraulic ram and hydraulic cylinder templates.
Add Anodised Aluminium as an available LCI Material
As a user I would like to include the impacts of Anodized Aluminium as part of the scope of my projects.
