If you find that some of the materials/elements that you’ve added to your design from the template library are showing up in the wrong category, the fastest way to amend this is to use the Bulk Swap Tool which is located on the top right side of your design, next to ‘+Add Template’.
Below is a video tutorial on how to use the Bulk Swap tool to recategorise your materials/elements. You can also use this tool to change the materials between main categories (Substructure, Superstructure, Internal Finishes, External Works etc).

If you’re unsure which category your materials/elements should be categorised in, please refer to the RICS – New Rules of Measurement (page 75 onwards) for guidance.
